Busan Museum of Modern Art extended its opening hours to close at 9 p.m. every Friday starting from September 14 to make the museum more available to foreign visitors, office workers and students.
In an effort to further promote this policy, the night-time tour of the exhibition will be free of charge from Friday, October 19. This is the first time for the museum to provide free admission to night-time visitors, which is expected to provide a last opportunity for the citizens to feel the tastes of ripening autumn while enjoying the exhibition “Drawing with Steel” by Bernar Venet, currently displayed both indoor and outdoor exhibition halls and well received by the public.
In addition, after conducting a comprehensive analysis on the preference of night-time visitors and their usage of facilities, the museum will take better steps to translate itself into a cultural resting-place that the citizens of Busan love to visit.
