The
6th Busan Maru International Music Festival (BMIMF), supported by the Ministry
of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Busan Metropolitan City and organized by the
BMIMF Organizing Committee, will be held from September 3~11 at the Busan Cultural Center, Eulsukdo Cultural Center and Busan
National Gugak Center. Since its inauguration in 2010, this annual
classical music festival has regularly exceeded the expectations of its
audiences.
The
BMIMF will feature a variety of classical music, accompanied by performances
and ensembles with a symphony orchestra. Nine domestic and oversea orchestras
(including the Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra) with participation from roughly
1,000 musical artists will play at this year’s festival.
