Busan City has now installed a ‘Smart View’, a kind of ‘Magnifying Computer’ which can enlarge documents or photos, at the Public Service Center on the 2nd Floor of the City Hall. Visitors with poor eyesight will now be able to benefit from using this type of assistive technology.

In addition, a ‘Voice Eye’ application which can read the content of a document to severely visually handicapped people and the blind by use of a special sensor, has also been installed.

In case of an emergency situation where a City Hall visitor’s heart suddenly stops or starts beating irregularly, two Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) have been installed at the lobby of the City Hall to support cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). They were donated by Jeong Jun-ho, President of the Korean Emergency Association for the Yeongnam Region. For more information, contact the Health and Sanitation Division at 888-2818
