The
Sasang Neighborhood Park opened in July 2014 in Sasang-gu, and has become popular
for its adventure playground for children.
The
park features 15 adventure facilities, seven amusement facilities, a fountain
and resting area. Benches equipped with parasols are located throughout the
park for rest and relaxation.
Equipment
for climbing, crawling and balancing are all available at the park and the seven
amusement facilities include a bouncing dome, seesaw, roller slide, straight slides,
rock climbing and climbing rope. An online reservation is required to use all adventure
facilities and can be made at the Sasang-gu website (http://snpark.sasang.go.kr/sub01/01.jsp

Neighborhood Park is located at 570 Baegyang-daero, Sasang-gu. Opening hours
are from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekdays and from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. on weekends
from March to October while from November to February they are from 10 a.m. – 5

Sasang-gu
has a large floating population and is a very industrialized area with insufficient
urban park space. This made it the perfect location for the new Neighborhood
Park, and it will surely remain a popular destination for families. There are
also plans at the park to add a family picnic area and ecological observation
center.
