The 1st Busan Cinema Center Movie Music Festival will be held from July 19 – August 30, 2015, at the outdoor theater of the Busan Cinema Center. The festival aims to celebrate Busan’s designation last December as the first city in Asia to be named a ‘City of Film’ by UNESCO.
The festival consists of performances, experience events, and exhibitions.
The daily schedule for the festival is:
[Experience Events] 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (free admission)
Flea market, skateboarding, chalk art
[Performances] 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. (free admission)
6 p.m. – 7 p.m.: film music concert
7 p.m. – 8 p.m.: cultural art performance – modern dance, traditional dance, b-boy performance, and more
8 p.m. – 9 p.m.: Cine Talk with movie stars, film directors and film related professionals
9 p.m. – 10 p.m.: Screening event: 3D Media Façade, movie teasers and more
[Exhibitions] 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Exhibition of movie hero figures and movie props
Period: July 17 – August 30
Hours of Operation: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. (last admission is 7 p.m.)
Tickets: 12,000 won
Audrey Hepburn, Beauty Beyond Beauty
Period: August 9 – September 6, 2015
Hours of Operation: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Tickets: 12,000 won for adult/ 10,000 won for university students / 8,000 won for youths / 6,000 won for children
The biggest outdoor café in Korea will open at the outdoor square of the Busan Cinema Center.
