All
seven public beaches in Busan have been opened to the public.
Haeundae,
Songdo and Songjeong Beaches have been open to the public since June 1 and will
remain open until September 10. Dadaepo, Ilgwang and Imnang Beaches were opened
July 1 and will remain open during the summer season until August 31.
Gwangalli
Beach opened July 1, a month late this season due to the Sandy Beach
Restoration Project. The beach has been expanded, and a foot-washing zone,
drinking fountains, showers and changing rooms have been installed for the
convenience of beach-goers. Gwangalli Beach will remain open until September
10.
A
large scale water entertainment facility with a capacity for up to two thousand
people has been opened for children and families at Dadaepo Beach. Dadaepo
Beach offers family fun with a variety of things to do and see including an
ecological center, a music show entitled ‘Dadaepo Sunset Fountain of Dreams,’
marine sports, and stages for youth performances.
Ilgwang and Imnang Beaches, located in the eastern part of the city, are for those who prefer a quieter, more relaxing beach experience.
