'Join industrial field trip'

BFIA invites foreigners to tour the complex

Busan Foundation for International Activities or BFIA will conduct the "Industrial Field Trip for Foreigners"on Oct. 30, which will take foreign residents and students in Busan to major industrial plants in the city.

The second industrial trip, following one in May which toured plants that make cars and instant noodles, will also take participants to the dynamic industrial sites in Busan.

The upcoming tour will start at   Hyundai Motor Co.'s Ulsan Plant at 10:30 a.m. Participants will inspect the entire process of assembly lines and look into the history of the nation's automobile industry. In the afternoon, they will visit Parkland, an apparel maker in Seo-dong, Geumjeong-gu District, to inspect the display hall as well as manufacturing lines.
