The 1st Korean Language Writing Contest for Foreign Nationals

 

Busan Foundation for International Activities is holding the 1st Korean Language Writing Contest for Foreign Nationals in order to spread the recognition of Hangeul and promote the Learning of Korean. Why don't you have a go! We look forward to your participation in this 1st Korean Language Writing Contest.

 

 

1. Overview

 Time: Friday, Oct. 3, 10:00 to 4:00

 Contest Division : Essay, Poetry

 Qualification

● All foreign nationals who have resided in Korea for no longer than 8 years

● Participants must not to have received any literary award in Korea for      last the past three years.

 Topic will be announced on the contest day.

 Place : Busan Cultural Center, Conference Hall

 

2. Awards

 First Place   (1 winner): a certificate of merit and ￦700,000

 Second Place (2 winners): a certificate of merit and ￦500,000

 Third Place   (3 winners): a certificate of merit and ￦300,000

 Forth Place   (4 winners): a certificate of merit and ￦100,000

 

3. Application

   Period : Sep. 16 ~ Sep. 28

․ Paper, File-folder, Lunch will be provided by the BFIA, except your writing implement(pen, pencil etc)

․ You must confirm your participation at least 10 minutes before the contest by signing your name.
