Busan IT industry seminars will be held at BEXCO where panels will discuss development strategies for the Busan IT industry. Busan IT Promotion Agency yesterday announced that it will hold a seminar entitled "Busan IT Industry Development, Vision and Strategy for 2020" in the Convention Hall of BEXCO in honor of IT EXPO BUSAN.

Kim Hanju, head of technology and the policy team of the Institute for Information Technology Advancement, and Kim Junsoo, head of the corporate assistance team of the Busan IT Promotion Agency will, respectively, address the themes "U-IT 839 Strategy of the Ministry of Information and Technology and Locally-specialized IT Cluster Formulation," and "Status of the Busan IT Industry and Strategy for Promoting the Local Specialized IT Industry."

Hyun Changhee, head of the Information Foundation team of the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute, and Lee Jonggap, researcher from the Korean Ocean Research & Development Institute, and Geum Changryeol of Daewoon Precision Industry Co., Ltd. are scheduled to give their reports: Innovative Strategies of Busan Toward Knowledge-based Economy, Prospects of IT Technology for Shipbuilding and Oceanic Field & Counterstrategy of Busan, and Developmental Strategy for Automobile Industry Adopted with IT. Visitors can meet the present and future of the IT industry.

Additionally, many other themes will be addressed at the seminars such as Outlook of Photonics Technology and Development & Strategy of Busan by Lee Sangbae; Development Strategy for Busan’s Digital Contents Industry by Choi Jison; and Promotion Strategy for Harbor Physical Distribution of Busan by Hong Bonghee.
