The Korean youth soccer team reclaimed the title after two years at the 2006 International Youth (U-20) Football Tournament in Busan on Saturday (Sept. 2) as Korea beat Slovakia 2-0.

Facing East Europe's dark horse in the last game of the competition, Shim Young-sung and Lee Sang-ho scored for Korean team.

In the 11th minute, forward Shim Young-Sung of the Jeju United connected Park Joo-ho's cross from left with a nonstop right-footed into the left corner of penalty box.

Two minutes later, Midfielder Park Joo-ho, who had a goal in a 2-1 win over Argentina, fired a mid-range shot and it was punched by a goalie, before midfielder Lee Sang-ho of the Ulsan Tigers drove the ball into the net.

Defeating all three teams _ the United States, Argentina and Slovakia _ the Korean youth team won their second championship after their first in 2004, and received a prize of $60,000 (57 million won).
