He said that with the help of Busan Port, the city of Busan has achieved great developments so far and emphasized that Busan should be the center of port and logistics.
The mayor also added that in order to be the hub port and hub city in Northeast Asia, the construction of Busan New Port slated for being completed at the end of 2011 should be proceeded without a hitch and the brand-new port should be equipped with huge space of logistics distribution center, backup road and railways.
