Busan Foundation for International Activities (BFIA) has provided an opportunity for Busan citizens to learn some of the less common languages spoken around the world, and experience different cultures, through its World Language Class from last year.

This followed a decision by the BFIA to restructure its World Culture Classes where, until 2012, foreign nationals of a number of different countries had introduced their culture to local citizens.

The new classes have provided Spanish, Italian, Tagalog, and Khmer classes to the local citizens participating in the class. Some 39 classes, over 3 semesters, were organized last year and various kinds of classes will be provided this year too for Busan citizens who are interested in learning some less widely spoken foreign languages. As the opening of a class depends on the availability of a native lecturer, for more details please refer to the notice board on the BFIA website.
