Under the slogan of “Happy Gukak Tree,” a performance of Korean Traditional Music and Dance will be held at Yejidang, a small theater located in the Busan National Gukak Center, every Saturday at 3 p.m. in 2014.
The regular performance scheduled every Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Busan National Gukak Center will be moved to 3:00 p.m. starting from 2014. The venue will also be changed to the Yejidang, a smaller theater that will bring the audience closer to the performers.
A number of Korean traditional music and dance performances that have been included on UNESCO’s list of Intangible Cultural Heritage, “Deulnorum” or mask dance and performances displaying Korea’s traditional court culture as well as percussion concerts are scheduled to be performed in 2014.
Like the giving tree, the Saturday performances at Busan National Gukak Center will provide a comfortable, healing and enjoyable time to the audience.
