❑ Subject matter

● Busan over Flowers! ~ Catch the ‘Hot’ scenes of Busan!

   Be a goodwill tourism ambassador for Busan by creating the most unique, fun, eye-catching video content!

   - Busan, a city that has developed into a world-famous tourist destination beyond Korea!

 Display your own knowledge and expertise in promoting tourism in Busan, including new tourist spots, local foods, festivals, cultural events, performances, storytelling tours, etc. in your video clip.

 Ex) Busan Port Bridge, Busan Citizens Park, Song Sang-hyeon Square, Gukje Market, Jagalchi Fish Market, Gamcheon Culture Village, Galmaet-gil courses, Taejongdae, Igidae and others

❑ Eligibility and application

● This contest is open to anyone (the number of members per team is limited to 3).

● Form and size of entry video

- Each video clip should be 3 minutes in length or shorter (about 500 MB)

- The file format should be one of the following: AVI, MPEG, WMV, MOV and H.264.

- 1920 pixel and below in width (16:9, 4:3 aspect ratio)

- Frame speed: 30 fps and below

● Each team or individual is allowed to enter 1 video clip.

● Application period: June 1, 2015 (Mon) ~ August 17, 2015 (Mon)

● Submission

   - Application forms can be downloaded at www.kookje.co.kr.

   - Access http://www.webhard.co.kr and log in with the following ID/PW (ID: kookjemunhwa / PW: kookjeucc) 

   - Upload an application form and entry video in the folder “The 7th Busan Tourism UCC Contest)

     * The file name of application form: Busan Tourism UCC Application Form_Name of Entry Work_Applicant’s (or Team’s) Name

     * The file name of entry video: Busan Tourism UCC_Name of Entry Work_Applicant’s (or Team’s) Name

＊Submission will be closed at 18:00 on August 17 (Mon), 2015

 

❑ Contest Prizes: a total of 10 million KRW for 11 entries

❑ Judging and award ceremony schedule

● Preliminary screening: August 18 (Tue) - 21 (Fri), 2015

● Final selection: August 24 (Mon) - September 4 (Fri), 2015

● Announcement: September 7 (Mon), 2015, via the Kookje Daily News newspaper and its website as well as Busan City website and by notification

● Award ceremony: September 13 (Mon), 2015, during the Busan International Tourism Fair at BEXCO

 

❑ Final selection method

● Entries passing preliminary screening will be posted up on Youtube/ucckookje. During the final selection period, entrants are encouraged to promote their video clips on Youtube as goodwill tourism ambassadors for Busan.

● Judging criteria: the number of hits on Youtube (20%) combined with marks by judges (80%)

 

❑ Important Advisory

● All winning submissions (including copyright for secondary works and compilations) become the property of Busan Metropolitan City and can be provided to a third party. *

● For all materials used in the entries, entrants are responsible for acquiring approval from the owners and copyright holders, and they are also liable for all civil and criminal liabilities relating to violation of copyrights, portrait rights or defamation.

● Entries with commercial or unwholesome content are subject to disqualification.

● Entries that have previously won awards at other contests are not eligible for application. If winning entries are found to have won awards from other contests, all prizes will be disqualified and forfeited.

● The award ceremony may be canceled if there are no winning entries.
