Busan Metropolitan City is hosting the 16th Busan Tourism Photo Contest to promote Busan as a beautiful and dynamic city.

 

Subject Matter

․ Any scenes promoting Busan’s beauty are eligible for submission.

․ Entries may include: scenes of the natural environment, four seasons, traditional culture, architecture, performances, festivals, religion, life style, foods, and all other possible materials for tourism (Busan Harbor Bridge, Gwangan Bridge Laser Show, Busan Citizens Park, Song Sang-Hyeon Square, Yeongdo Bridge, and Gamcheon Culture Village).

* If submitted photos are considered to be too similar to photos entered by previous contest winners, you are likely to lose your points.

 

Eligibility and Application

․ The contest is open to anyone. (Foreigners are welcome.)

․ Each photo should be an unmounted print measuring 11 inches by 14 inches without edges. (Negatives, slide films, and digital photos but not to be stuck on a panel.)

․ This contest is for color photographs only.

․ Up to 6 entries are allowed per person. (Photos should have been taken after January 2014 and have never been previously submitted to other contests.)

․ The entry fee is KRW 20,000 per person

․ Application period: July 1, 2015 - July 28, 2015 (all submissions must arrive by 6 p.m. on July 28).

․ All entries should be submitted to the Photo Artist Association of Korea Busan Chapter (PASKBS)

․ Announcement: July 31, 2015 (Friday), on PASKBS website www.paskbs.com (TBC)

․ Award ceremony: September 13, 2015 (Sunday), at the Busan International Travel Fair in BEXCO

․ Exhibition: September 11-14, 2015 (4 days), at the Busan International Travel Fair in BEXCO
