Bicycle Slides to be installed on Busan Metro Station steps.

For the convenience of bicycle riders using the Busan Metro, a bicycle slide will be installed on the steps of Metro stations on Line 3.
Busan Transportation Corporation plans to install a bicycle slide at 16 Metro stations on Line 3 by September 29, 2010 through a total investment of two hundred million won. Only Mulmangol Station will be excluded from the project due to difficulties in installing the slide there. The 15 cm long stainless steel slide will be installed on the right side of the stairwell at the designated stations. In particular, the slide will also be installed on the staircase between the waiting room and the station platform at a total of 11 Metro stations including Daejeo, Deokcheon and Sukdeung.
In May, a test slide was installed at the Sports Park Station and this has been put into trial operation ever since.
