100-km mountain-bike trail opens
30 km of trail set aside for rookie riders


A 100-kilometer-long mountain-bike trail is now open in Gijang County, Busan.

The county has built the trail for both professional and amateur mountain bikers across the nation. Gijang County was a venue for the international mountain bike race during the 2002 Asian Games.

The trails have two routes - a 70-kilometer one for intermediate bikers and a 30-kilometer one for beginners.

The intermediate route runs from Gijang County Office via Midong, Gomnaejae, Maegok, Jwacheon Elementary School, Jangansa branch-road, Daeryong, Imnang, Cheong

gwang, Hoeryong Bridge, and Hoenggye. The beginner's course also starts from Gijang County Office via Sara, Namnagi, Anjeoksa temple branch-road, Nae-dong, Seoksan, Daebyun Port, Woljeon, and Gijang County Office.
