It is expected that Busan citizens will meet newly designed bus-stop signboards within a few months.
Yesterday, Busan Metro unveiled two new signboards, which were partially combined with the first and the second prize-winning works from their bus-stop sign design contest.
Busan Metro plans to install the two new bus stop signboards in front of Busan City Hall so as to survey public opinion. After gathering public opinions, the most favored type will be selected.
The old versions installed on some blocks in Busan will be substituted with new ones by the time the Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) conference begins. All bus-stop signboards in rest areas are to be replaced with new ones after the APEC conference period.
In order to fit in with Busan's new image as they host the APEC conference, Busan has invited refreshing designs for the bus-stop signboards.
