2015 Beach Season in Busan Begins from June 1

The beach season begins in Busan from June. Haeundae, Songdo and Songjeong Beaches are set to open from June 1 to September 10, while Dadaepo, Ilkwang and Imnang Beaches are set to open from July to August.

Gwangalli Beach is scheduled to open to visitors beginning on July 1, a month later than usual, because of the restoration of the sand at the beach. And it will remain open until September 10.

 

Haeundae Beach, marking the 50^th anniversary since its opening this year, was expanded to 100 meters through the Sandy Beach Restoration Project which began in November 2012 and was completed this year.

 

Various cultural and art events, which have been taking place to vitalize the beaches in Busan during all four seasons, will be extended through the summer months and promise to be bigger and better than ever.
