Traditional Folk Performances to Take Place at Yongdusan Park and Busan Citizens Park every Weekend.

From April, the City of Busan and the Busan Cultural Foundation will once again hold traditional folk performances every Saturday including ‘Uri Garak, Uri Madang’ performances every Sunday to revitalize local traditional cultural performances and for the enjoyment of domestic and foreign tourists and Busan citizens alike.


 


Since April 4, regular Saturday traditional folk performances have been held at Yongdusan Park in Jung-gu and will run until October 24, 2015, every Saturday at 2p.m. A variety of free traditional folk performances including intangible cultural assets are scheduled to be held.



 

‘Uri Garak, Uri Madang’ performances, which combine traditional dance and music, will be held at Busan Citizens Park every Sunday from April to November at 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

 

A total of 20 performances will be featured until this fall excluding the months of July and August.
