BCVB (Busan Convention & Visitors Bureau) is a Busan City organization whose main jobs include attracting international conventions (meetings, conferences and symposiums) and providing various kinds of support for meeting planners and organizers about Busan as a convention venue.

We are inviting interested applicants to submit unique and creative English slogans symbolizing the Tour & Convention hub city of Busan, which will help promote Busan as the best convention destination with rich tourism resources and convention facilities.  Anyone is welcome to submit an entry in this slogan competition. For more information, please see below.                     

1. Competition Date: May 1, 2005~May 31, 2005 (for 30days)

2. What form of slogans?

○ Short form English slogans

   e.g) Incredible India, World Meets Busan, Hi, Seoul, Colorful Daegu

3. What should the Slogan stand for?

○ The Slogan must symbolize:

   - The city of Busan, with rich cultural & tourism attractions.

   - Busan's aspiration as a tourism & convention hub city in Northeast Asia.         

   - Busan as a global convention destination city (for effective International convention attraction).    

   - Busan's state of the art convention facilities.   

4. How to participate?

○ You can download the application form here or at BCVB Website: www.busancvb.org

○ And fill in the application form and explain what your slogan stands for.

○ A “one slogan per one person” limit applies.

○ In case of the same slogan, a “first-come first-served” basis will apply.

6. Winner Announcement: An Announcement will be made on June 23 on our website and through individual phone notification.

7. Award: The winners will be awarded their prizes (a specific date will be arranged between BCVB and the winners) around the end of June, 2005.

8. Remarks: BCVB owns the copyright of the adopted work and there's a possibility of No-Adoption (no winner) in the case of no qualified works submitted.
