Geumnyeonsan Youth Training Institute will run '2012 Family Experience Events' every third Sunday of each month from March through October. The first event was held on Sunday, March 18.
Anyone, including teenagers, families and hikers, who visit the Youth Center on that day can enjoy the following programs.
1:00 p.m. ~ 5:00 p.m.
Observation of the sun at the astronomy observatory
Making pottery
Traditional Korean tea ceremony experience
Sports Climbing at the Hae Oreum (Rising Sun) Artificial Rock Climbing Walls
Reservations are not required. All programs are free of charge and the parking fee is 2,000 won.
In addition, visitors can take a picture here and get their picture developed for free.
An official of the Youth Center said, "We strive to provide a fun experience for all visitors. We hope that many people will come to the Center this Sunday and enjoy a variety of activities in the beautiful natural setting we have here."
