Busan International Fish Market became an official member of the World Union of Wholesale Markets (WUWM).
The World Union of Wholesale Markets (WUWM) is an international non-profit association established in 1958 that aims to promote the international exchange of information on retail and wholesale fresh produce markets, with a view to improving their construction, organization and management. The WUWM Board is international in composition and includes 11 directors, a vice chairperson and a chairperson along with members from 42 countries. Its headquarters is located in The Hague, in the Netherlands. Member countries in the Asian region include Republic of Korea, China, India and Australia.
