Busan Metropolitan City is holding its Global Culture Festival (and Contest) to offer foreign students in Busan an opportunity to celebrate their own culture while exploring others and to showcase and share their talents.
Date & Time: November 11, 2011 3p.m. ~ 5 p.m.
Venue: Goun Hall, Haeundae Cultural Center
Contestants: approx. 10 teams composed of one or more foreign students studying at universities in Busan
▶ If there are too many applicants, preliminary screening may be conducted.
Content: A global cultural contest for foreign students presenting traditional dances, songs, instrumental and martial arts performances of Korea or their home countries
Awards
First Place (1 winner) A certificate and 500,000 KRW/per team
Second Place (2 winners) A certificate and 300,000 KRW/per team
Third Place (3 winners) A certificate and 200,000 KRW/per team
Best Cheering Prize (1 winner) A certificate and 100,000 KRW/per team
Application Details
Period: Monday, October 10 ~ Tuesday, October 25, 2011
Process: Recommendation by each university or individual application
Required documents: an official recommendation letter from the university or an application form
