Renewed reusable garbage bags can be used as shopping bags

To reduce the consumption of disposable products, the Ministry of the Environment and five large stores - Lotte Mart, Mega Mart, E-Mart, Homeplus and the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation’s Hanaro Mart ？ ceased selling disposable plastic bags from the beginning of October. As an alternative to shopping bags, the city is supplying reusable standard biodegradable plastic garbage bags.
The reusable garbage bags are thicker and of high durability with handles, making them easy to carry, but they will be no more expensive than the standard garbage bags. They will be sold at the large stores and can be used as large shopping bags or as garbage bags. They will come in ten, twenty, and thirty liter sizes.
In particular, the reusable garbage bags can be used regardless of which gu(district) or gun(county) you are in. Previously, reusable garbage bags were sold and used on a district by district basis.
