Busan Foundation for International Activities(BFIA) and Pusan University of Foreign Studies(PUFS) is holding the 3^rd Korean Essay Contest in order to promote understanding of Hangul and motivate expatriates who study Korean language. We look forward to your participation in this event.

 

01. Overview

  Date & Time: October 9, 2010, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

  Venue: International Conference Room at Busan Cultural Center

  Contest Divisions: Essay & Poetry

  Topic will be announced on the contest day.

  The contest is brought to you by Busan Foundation for International Activities(BFIA) and  Pusan University of Foreign Studies(PUFS)

 

02. Awards

  First Place (2 winners): A certificate and 700,000KW

  Second Place (2 winners): A certificate and 400,000KW

  Third Place (2 winners): A certificate and 300,000KW

  Special Award (2 winners): A certificate and 100,000KW

 

03. Application

  Due by September 29, 2010

  Qualification

   - All foreign nationals who have residing in Busan.

   * No limitation on the length of stay in Korea.

     ※ Any of previous participants who won the first place for the last two years will not be eligible for this contest.
