11th Urban Agriculture Exhibition will be held from March 26-29, 2015 at BEXCO which aims to promote the benefits of urban agriculture and develop farming communities.
Over 50,000 people including those related urban agriculture and citizens are expected to visit the exhibition.
The Urban Agriculture Exhibition, hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and co-organized by the Busan Urban Agriculture Exhibition Organizing Committee and KNN, consists of an urban agriculture promotional booth, exhibition, learning and experiential booths, special events and side events. Various models of vegetable gardens on rooftop, veranda, and piece of land will be displayed.
Learning and experiential events including planting rice by hand, writing letter with seeds, making up flower bouquet, and planting vegetable seedling are scheduled to be held in the exhibition.
The design of rooftop vegetable gardens, a home gardening contest, nationwide urban agriculture product idea contest and companion plants contest are taking place. International People Plant Council Symposium and Korea urban agriculture symposium are also scheduled to be held.
The admission is free and opens to the public from 10:00a.m. to 6:00p.m.
