Dongnae Eupseong Historical Festival Wins Korea Content Awards Two Years in a Row

Dongnae-gu announced that the Dongnae Eupseong Historical Festival won the 3rd Korea Content Awards in the contents (education) category.
The awards hosted by the Korea Festival Contents Association selects 20 festivals from among approximately 2,000 nationwide, which contribute to local economic growth and tourism.
The awards are made in the six categories - tourism, global, economy, contents, art and contribution.
The Dongnae Eupseong Historical Festival won the Korea Content Awards in the “contribution” category last year. It has won the award two years in a row.
The Dongnae Eupseong Historical Festival is held every October at the North Gate Plaza of Dongnae Eupseong, Dongnae Cultural Center and Oncheonjang area. It started as the Dongnae Chungnyeoljae in 1995. The festival received high praise as a historical-educational festival.
As the main event of the festival, the reenactment of the Dongnae Eupseong Battle attracts thousands of visitors every year.
