“Look at the first full moon of the year and make a wish for the new year.”
Haeundae-gu office announced that they would hold “Haeundae Full moon and Hot spring festival” in Haeundae beach on the Feb 22nd and 23rd. This is the 23rd Full moon and Hot spring festival and people can enjoy hot spring and welcome moon rising of the full moon of the New Year, so more then 5 billion people gather every year. During the festival period, various kinds of traditional games such as Tuho throwing(a kind of discus throwing), Neol Jumping(a kind of seesawing), burning moon house(big pile of wood). International kite flying contest will be held in Heaundae. On the big day for the full moon festival the time of moon rising will be around 4:15 in the afternoon.
