Suyeong-gu District has installed a night photo zone at Gwangalli Beach so that visitors can more easily take a picture of the colorful night view with Gwangan Bridge (or Diamond Bridge) in the background.
The photo zone is located by ‘Road to Island’, one of the artworks of the Gwangalli New Media Outdoor Art Museum.
Artificial lighting for night photography has been installed on both sides of the photo spot which is marked with copperplate on the themed street at Gwangalli Beach. Promotional wide color photos of Eobang Festival, Busan International Fireworks Festival and cultural assets in Suyeong-gu are also attached on the street floor.
Visitors can now easily take their photo with Gwangan Bridge, the artworks of the Gwangalli New Media Outdoor Art Museum, and Gwangalli Beach in the background, at the photo zone at night.
The mayor of Suyeong-gu, Park Hyeon-wook said, “We aim for families, couples and tourists who visit Gwangalli Beach at night to be able to take a picture with the beautifully illuminated Gwangan Bridge, the waves breaking on Gwangalli Beach and the artworks of the Gwangalli New Media Outdoor Art Museum. all together at once”.
