Free admission to the Fisheries Science Museum

The Fisheries Science Museum at the National Fisheries Research & Development Institute (NFRDI), located in 216 Haean-ro Gijang-eup, Gijang-gun, has now been opened to the public for free.


The Fisheries Science Museum at the NFRDI, opened in May, 1997 as the first fisheries and ocean exhibition center in the country, with two hundred thousand visitors per year, is one of Busan’s popular attractions.

 

 

The 9,240 square meter Fisheries Science Museum exhibits about 7,400 marine creatures of 1,070 different species.

 

Opening hours are from 9 a.m. through 6 p.m. (Closed on Monday)
