Starting March 19, 2012, Republic of Korea’s budget carrier Air Busan will launch daily fight service between the country’s largest port of Busan and Qingdao, a key industrial hub in China’s Shandong Province.

Flight BX321 will depart Busan Gimhae International Airport at 1030hrs and arrive at Qingdao Liuting International Airport at 1130hrs. The return flight to Busan, BX322, will depart Liuting International Airport at 1230hrs and arrive at Gimhae International Airport at 1510. An airplane B734 with 162 seats will be used for operation.

Due to insufficient fights linking the two cities, many passengers have to transfer and use connecting flights at the Incheon International Airport. The new daily direct flights can make two-way air travel more convenient, which will benefit businesses and the tourism industry.
