Haeundae-gu publishes medical guidebook

Haeundae-gu District is taking a more active role in promoting medical tourism by stepping up its marketing campaigns and publishing 3,000 copies of a specialized guidebook in four languages - English, Japanese, Chinese and Russian - as the number of foreigners coming to the city for surgery rises.
The guidebook has information on the 41 medical institutes that cater to foreign patients in the city. It has been designed for ease of use and contains details of the medical facilities’ location, Web site address and contact numbers, among other information.
It also features a map of Haeundae and information on major tourist attractions, as well as on accommodation, shopping and public transport.
Haeundae-gu District has been distributing the booklet to hotels, airports, immigration offices and tour information offices. Also, it will launch a Web site dedicated to medical tourism.
