Nakdong Riverside Road to be transformed for better appreciation of the Nakdong River Sunsets

The Nakdong Riverside will be transformed into a Sunset Observation zone from which pedestrians will better be able to view the beautiful sunset.
Saha-gu District announced that it will start a Sunset Road establishment project with a total investment of 1.5 billion won. When the project is completed in March, 2012, the pedestrian passage from the Nakdong Estuary Barrage to Dadae and Eulsukdo Bridge will be widened from 1.5 meters to 3.5 meters, and a waterfront space and viewing deck will be established.
The widening of the footpaths at Nakdong Estuary Barrage and Riverside Road, establishment of bicycle paths, and renovation of the waterfront area will proceed next year after the Sunset Road Establishment Project. Therefore, Sasang-gu District plans to create a new tourist route from the border of Sasang-gu down as far as Dadaepo Sunset Fountain of Dreams.
An official of Sasang-gu said “The Riverside Road will be reconfigured as a new, environmentally friendly tourist attraction once the project is completed.”
