Busan City to operate free shuttle buses during Busan International Film Festival

The place garnering most of the attention during the 16^th Busan International Film Festival is the Busan Cinema Center, the main venue of the Busan International Film Festival. A large number of domestic and international film makers and film audiences are expected to visit the Busan Cinema Center during the BIFF, so the use of public transportation to get there is being strongly encouraged.

 

Here are the most convenient ways to get to the Busan Cinema Center by public transport.

 

■ Free Shuttle Bus
Busan City is operating free shuttle buses every 10 minutes from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. during the Busan International Film Festival.

 

Route A: Busan Cinema Center → Community Media Center → Lotte Cinema·CGV → Haeundae Centum Hotel·BEXCO → Haeundae Grand Hotel → BIFF Village → Haeundae Megabox → Haeundae Centum Hotel·BEXCO → Lotte Cinema·CGV → Community Media Center → Busan Cinema Center

 

Route B: Busan Cinema Center → Community Media Center → Lotte Cinema·CGV → Haeundae Centum Hotel·BEXCO → Haeundae Megabox → BIFF Village → Haeundae Grand Hotel → Haeundae Centum Hotel·BEXCO → Lotte Cinema·CGV → Community Media Center → Busan Cinema Center

 

■ Metro

To get to the Busan Cinema Center, Lotte Cinema or CGV by metro, get off at Centum City Station (Line 2). For the Busan Cinema Center, take Exit 12 or 6 and then walk about 7 minutes.

For Megabox Haeundae or BIFF Village, get off at Haeundae Station (Line 2).

 

■ Local Bus

Bus nos. 5-1, 36, 39, 40, 63, 115, 139, 141, 155, 181, 307, 1001(Express) and 1002(Express) stop at Shinsegae Department Store.

 

■ Airport Limousine Bus

A limousine bus from Gimhae International Airport to Haeundae will temporarily stop across from Shinsegae Department Store. From the bus stop, walk about 7 to 8 minutes to the Busan Cinema Center. It takes about 50 minutes to get from Gimhae Airport to Shinsegae Department Store by limousine bus.
