While Busan may mark the end of the land, it is also where the sea begins—a gateway connecting people and ideas across cultures.
design-Busan2026 is a citywide design platform aiming to bring Busan to life through the theme of <Ocean, People, Environment>.
Drawing on Busan’s unique resources, design-Busan2026 creates new opportunities for design, business, and exchange through a dynamic program of fairs, markets, forums, and exhibitions.
By exploring and promoting a design approach inspired by Busan, design- Busan2026 aims to address global challenges related to sustainability, urban regeneration, and the marine environment, while establishing Busan as an international hub for design.
