□ Tickets for the 21st Busan Fireworks Festival, scheduled for November 7, 2026, go on sale at 14:00 on September 4.
○ This year, the Busan Fireworks Festival will put on a commemorative spectacle marking the 21st anniversary of Gwangandaegyo Bridge and illuminate the autumn night sky with more dynamic displays than ever before.
□ Two types of seating will be arranged on the beach in front of Hotel Aqua Palace and Homers Hotel in Gwangalli: R seats, equipped with tables and chairs, and S seats, consisting of individual chairs.
○ R seats cost 100,000 won, and S seats, 70,000 won.
□ Ticketing is available through NOL Ticket and the Busan Bank app; Busan Bank branches handle S seats only.
○ Early Bird Tickets sold out in under a minute on August 26th, once again demonstrating exceptional demand and response for the event.
○ Ticket allocations for overseas inbound travel agencies were snapped up quickly, and inquiries from operators in Taiwan and other countries continue to pour in.
○ Coupled with the implementation of a temporary visa-free entry policy for Chinese group tours, the Busan Fireworks Festival is thus expected to be a key driver in increasing international arrivals.
□ For the first time, Busan residents receive 10% off, with a limit of four seats per person.
○ This new measure is intended to share the joy and value of the festival with citizens and allow them to enjoy it affordably and up close.
○ Discounted tickets can also be booked via NOL Ticket, the Busan Bank app, and at Busan Bank branches. Physical tickets will be distributed at the venue on the day of the event.
○ NOL Ticket users can pick up their tickets at the NOL Ticket booth, while those who used Busan Bank’s app or a branch should go to the Busan Bank booth. However, standard tickets not eligible for the resident rate may be shipped in advance.
○ When buying tickets at a Busan Bank branch, residency will be verified. Online purchasers and accompanying individuals must have valid identification with them on-site. If the ID does not indicate a Busan address, a resident registration certificate issued within the past three months must be presented. Anyone who fails to provide the required proof will need to pay the difference.
□ All admission revenue will be reinvested in expanding the scale of the fireworks, improving guest comfort and safety, and creating jobs by recruiting additional staff, with the goal of enhancing the overall quality of the festival.
