The Busan Inter-City Film Festival marks its tenth edition this year. Since 2017, the festival has introduced local films from UNESCO Creative Cities of Film and partner cities, expanding exchanges through cinema. The festival is organized around four sections: Inter-City, presenting local films from partner cities; Busan, focusing on the city through its filmmakers; Drawing City, exploring the city through film; and -scape, examining the relationship between cinema and the city. The festival's Residency Film Project has supported new works by Busan filmmakers produced in cities around the world. Through the project, Busan has continued to connect cities through film production, while the festival and its filmmakers have grown together. Films are made by people. Films bring people together in the cinema. The city is shaped by those encounters. This is Busan, a city of cinema. This is the Busan Inter-City Film Festival. We hope this tenth edition opens the festival's next decade
