Haeundae-gu will host the Haeundae World Culture Festival for the first time from October 26 to 27 along Gunam-ro. The festival will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the 26th and from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the 27th.
The event is organized in connection with the Global City Tourism Summit, which will be held in Busan from October 27 to 29, and is expected to serve as a vibrant space for global cultural exchange where residents and visitors can enjoy global experiences together.
At the festival site, visitors will find a World Food Zone featuring international dishes such as Vietnamese banh mi and Indian curry, prepared in collaboration with local businesses and women immigrants via marriage.
A World Culture Experience Zone will also be set up, offering opportunities to enjoy traditional games from different countries. The program includes a World Singing Contest with foreign participants on stage, a photo zone with traditional costumes and props from around the world, and a variety of world cultural performances featuring international performance teams as well as local folk and vocal ensembles.
