Recruitment of <2025 Rookies on the BU-ROCK>
Rookies on the BU-ROCK is a contest to discover and foster new artists.
Total prize of 15 million KRW
From a chance to perform at the Busan International Rock Festival to opportunities at overseas festivals and showcases!
○ Eligible Applicants: Any new musician in Korea
○ Qualifications
- Individual or teams who can perform their songs live for 30 minutes
- A musician who have not released any albums, or who released their first official record (single, EP, or full-length album) on or after January 1, 2020.
○ Contest Schedule
- Application period : June 13 (Fri) - July 2 (Wed) 18:00 KST
- 1st Result Announcement : July 7 (Mon), SNS Announcement
- Performance Audition(TOP 15): July 13 (Sun), KT&G Sangsangmadang Busan Live Hall
- 2nd Result Announcement : July 15 (Tue), Individual Notification and SNS Announcement
- Final Competition(TOP 10) : Sept. 27 (Sat) - Sept. 28 (Sun), Busan International Rock Festival Hidden stage
* Special Performance(TOP 11-15) : Sept. 26 (Fri), Busan International Rock Festival Hidden stage
