2021 Busan-ASEAN Week to be held from November 18 to 24th in Busan

The 2021 Busan-ASEAN Week will take place around the City of Busan from November 18 to 24, 2021 under the theme, “Colorful Scents of ASEAN.”
The 2021 Busan-ASEAN Week is being held to commemorate the successful hosting of the ASEAN-ROK Commemorative Summits in 2014 and 2019 and to seek sustainable cooperation and promote harmony and friendship between Busan and ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations). It is the second year the event has been held.
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of friendship relations between Busan and Bangkok and the 10th Anniversary of the establishment of the Mekong - ROK Cooperation, the city expects that this year’s event will provide a chance to establish sustainable relationships between Busan and its ASEAN sister and friendship cities.
The opening ceremony will take place at the Busan Cinema Center on November 18, 2021.
Various cultural events to help understand ASEAN culture and promote a consensus are scheduled to be held. They include an ASEAN food show, talk concert about ASEAN coffee story, ASEAN culture experience events and more.

The Bangkok Photo Exhibition and Mekong Promotion Exhibition will take place at the Busan Cinema Center (Nov. 18th) and the corridor to the Busan City Hall metro station (Nov. 19 to 24).
