COVID-19: Administrative Order Changing Restricted Operating Hours of some Multi-use Facilities

The city of Busan remains at a social distancing level of 1.5, but has made changes to the restricted operating hours of the following multi-use facilities from May 31 to June 13, 2021.

Target: 5 types of entertainment facilities (bars, including night clubs and room salons, colatecs (Korean-style cabaret), karaoke bars, pubs, hunting pochas), Hold’em pubs (card game pubs)), singing rooms (including coin singing rooms), Restaurants/cafes, convenience stores, street vendors


Until May 30th: Suspension of operations after 10PM until 5AM the next day

From May 31st: Suspension of operations after 11PM until 5AM the next day

*Restaurants/cafes, convenience stores and street vendors are only permitted take-out and delivery past 11PM until 5AM the next day.


The city government will impose a “one-strike-out” policy on rule violations. A violation of the quarantine rules even once will immediately result in operations being shut down.

Private gatherings of 5 or more persons are prohibited nationwide.
