Strongly Suggested Social Distancing Rules to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19

Before the new school semester begins, please stay at home 
from March 22nd to April 5th and delay private gatherings & meetings.
We can overcome the COVID-19 spread by taking heart through collective action.

Social Distancing Campaign
Starting Today, Work & Home Only 
Stay at home, except for going to work, buying groceries or to seek medical care
Delay or cancel planned gatherings, events and travel
Maintain personal hygiene
-wash your hands frequently and thoroughly and wear a mask, 
-cover your mouth and nose with your sleeve when coughing or sneezing
Refrain from touching and stay 2 meters away from others
Keep your work and living spaces clean with frequent air circulation and disinfectant
Go home immediately if you experience fever, cough, or other respiratory symptoms
Avoid visiting crowed multi-use facilities for religion, entertainment or exercise.  


The central government and Busan Metropolitan City are strongly urging people to practice social distancing from March 22 to April 5, 2020 to prevent the spread of COVID-19.


Gov’t Extends Enhanced Social Distancing Campaign for 2 More Weeks until April 19, 2020.

Please stay at home and avoid going out to prevent the spread of COVID-19.


Please keep the following rules for 2 more weeks (April 6 to April 19):

- Refrain from going outdoors, avoid gatherings, eating out and taking trips

- People should stay home and rest if a fever or respiratory symptoms appear

- Everyone is asked to stay home except to get food, get necessary healthcare, or go to an essential job.

- Avoid physical contact with others as much as possible and maintain your distance (approximately 6 feet or 2 meters) when possible.

- Keep up your personal hygiene habits by washing your hands, practicing good coughing etiquette and wearing a face mask.

- Disinfect and ventilate your home and workplace daily


Please keep the following rules at your workplace as well (March 22 to April 5):

- Wash your hands regularly with soap and running water

- Avoid physical contact with others like shaking hands and maintaining your distance (approximately 6 feet or 2 meters) when possible.

- Do not use multiuse places like changing rooms and indoor rest spots

- Use your own personal cup and utensils.

- Maintain your distance from others and do not sit across from others at the table while having meals

- Go directly home after work

to protect yourself and others from COVID-19.
Call to actions for all citizens
Cancel or postpone all non-essential gatherings, dining out, social events, and travel plans.
If you have fever, cough, sore throat, or other respiratory symptoms, do not go to work. 
Stay home and get sufficient rest. 
Wash your hands, cover up your sneezes/coughs, and generally maintain strict personal hygiene.
Avoid leaving home except to purchase necessities, to get medical care, or to go to work.
Avoid handshakes and other forms of physical contact. 
Keep a 2-meter distance from each other.
Disinfect and ventilate your space every day. 
Call to actions for citizens in the workplace
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap under running water. 
Refrain from using changing rooms, indoor break rooms, and other public areas. 
When eating meals together, maintain a distance and avoid sitting face to face.
Use your own personal cups and utensils. 
Avoid handshakes and other forms of physical contact. 
Keep a 2-meter distance from each other. 
Return home directly after leaving work.
