Jagalchi Cruise 자갈치 크루즈 

Jagalchi Cruise has started a ferry service that departs from Jagalchi Market and sails along the coast of the city to offer a sightseeing experience. 

 

The 379-tonage cruise ship is capable of carrying 303 passengers.

The cruise tour takes about 90 minutes, departing and ending at Jagalchi Market via the neighboring sea of Amnam Park and Taejongdae  It operates four times daily at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

 

The cruise reservation is available online at www.jagalchi-cruise.co.kr (Korean) or by phone, calling 1833-5880. You can also purchase a cruise ticket at the ticket booth located at 60, Jagalchihaean-ro, Jung-gu, Busan.

 

The cruise ticket is 19,000 won for adults, 10,000 won for children when you purchase at the ticket booth, and 15,200 won for adults, 10,000 won for children when you reserve tickets online. Infants less than 36 months old are free. Busan residents can get 20 percent off the ticket price when purchasing at the ticket booth.

 

The Yeongdo Bridge lifts once a day for 15 minutes at 2:00 p.m. If you take the cruise at 2:00 p.m., you can watch the lifting of Yeongdo Bridge on the ship. The Jagalchi Cruise offers guests spectacular sea views and the opportunity for people to enjoy the bustling Jagalchi Market, home to Busan’s freshest seafood.
