The
Museum of Contemporary Art Busan (MoCA) will extend its opening hours to 9:00
p.m. from August 7 to August 10 for the convenience of Busan residents and
tourists.
The
total number of visitors to the MoCA since opening in the middle of June has reached
about 200,000. The number of visitors to the MoCA has sharply increased during
the peak summer holiday season with around ten thousand daily visitors on
weekdays.
The
Museum of Contemporary Art Busan is becoming an eco-tourist attraction, along
with the nearby Eulsukdo Cultural Center, Nakdonggang Riverside Ecological Park,
Dadaepo Beach and Gamcheon Culture Village.
The
inaugural exhibition of the MoCA takes place until August 12th.
The
admission is free and the last admission is 8:30 p.m. from August 7 to 10th.
The
regular opening hours of the MoCA are from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Tue. – Sun.)
Closed January 1st and every Monday or the following Tuesday if
Monday is a national holiday.
