Busan
City provided city tours to foreign students currently studying in Busan over
two days from Saturday, November 25 to Sunday, November 26.
Since
2013, this annual tour has provided a good opportunity for participating
students to experience various aspects of Busan’s history and culture and to
promote Busan’s city brand around the world.
Busan City received many applications for the tour by international university students in Busan over ten days from November 1 to November 10. As a result, 500 foreign students from 28 countries signed up for the event, an increase of 90 students from the previous year. The tour courses include, new attractions of Busan – F1963 and Busan Museum of Movies, and have had a good response from participating students.
The
city offers two different courses, as follows:
Course
1 (East Busan area): F1963 → Nurimaru APEC House → Haeundae Beach → Haedong
Yonggungsa Temple
Course
2 (Original Downtown area): Busan Museum of Movies → Yongdusan Park → Gamcheon
Culture Village
A
public official, a faculty member from participating school and interpretation
volunteers were assigned to each tour bus to provide interpretation and tour guide
services to ensure a pleasant trip for the foreign students.
