Pyeongchang 2018 Olympic Torch Relay 

101 days of the Pyeongchang 2018 Olympic torch relay journey begins on November 1, 2017 in Incheon Metropolitan City. The Olympic torch relay run will take place from November 4 to November 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Busan. There will be a 147km route across the city of Busan (15 gus and guns) run by about 405 runners with 49km on average being run per day. 

 

Traffic restrictions will be in place during the torch relay.  We recommend people to use metro during the torch relay event.

 

The torch relay routes in Busan are below:

∙ Saturday, Nov. 4: Gupo Metro Station → Deokpo Metro Station → Hadan → Daesin-dong → Chungmu-dong → Yeongdo Bridge → North Port 

∙ Sunday, Nov. 5: Jagalchi Metro Station → Yangjeong → Busan National University of Education → Beomeosa Metro Station → Oncheonjang-ro → Sajik Arena → Songsanghyeon Square

∙ Monday, Nov. 6: Songsanghyeon Square → Suyeong Metro Station → Yonghoman Sightseeing Boat Terminal → Gwangandaegyo Bridge → Gijang IC → Cheonggang Sageori → Jangsan Metro Station → Dongbaek Metro Station → Busan Cinema Center → Haeundae Beach
