2017 Busan Choral Festival & Competition to be held from Sep. 6-9

The 2017 Busan Choral Festival & Competition will be held from September 6 to September 9 at Busan Cinema Center and Sohyang Theater in Haeundae.
About 1,600 choir members on 47 teams from 7 countries from around world (11 choruses from 6 countries, 22 choruses from Korea) will compete in five categories, including classical mixed vocals, classical equal vocals, ethnic/traditional music, pop & gospel, and youth choir.
The opening and gala concerts are scheduled as below:
Opening Concert - September 6, 2017, 8:00 p.m., Sohyang Theater
Cantus, an eight-member male vocal a cappella ensemble from the USA
Gala Concert I - September 7, 2017, 8:00 p.m., Sohyang Theater
Aleron, an all-male ensemble from the Philippines and a grand prix winner of the 10th Busan Choral Festival & Competition in 2014
Gala Concert II - September 8, 2017, 8:00 p.m., Sohyang Theater
Uangel Voice, a five-male classical vocal group from the ROK
