Under the concept of “Our Sea, Human Future”, the National Maritime Museum of Korea opened to the public in 2012 at Innovation City in Dongsam-dong, Yeongdo-gu. The museum features marine-related objects of culture, people, history, marine life, industry, geography and science. With its unique exterior, the third largest museum in Republic of Korea has become a Busan landmark.
