The Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that the 5th Busan Spring Flower Exhibition will be held from May 2 to 6 at Dasom Square, Busan Citizens Park.

• ●The exhibition is designed to offer colorful attractions and experiences based on the theme of spring flowers, providing citizens with relief from daily life stresses,
  while aiming to rejuvenate the local floriculture industry, which has been struggling amid domestic and global economic downturns.

This year’s exhibition will feature participation from 40 organizations, including the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation’s Busan Regional Headquarters,
under the theme "Busan Embraces Flowers, and Happiness Blossoms."

  ▲ Opening Ceremony
  ▲ Spring flower sculptures, floral artworks, and bonsai exhibitions
  ▲ Floral Creation Competition
  ▲ National Flower Tea Contest
  ▲ Flower Direct Sales Market

• ●Visitors will experience high-quality themed displays combining flowers and sculptures,
  admire floral artworks by distinguished florists, and enjoy special exhibitions featuring native wildflowers and vibrant azaleas, as well as a bonsai exhibition hosted in Busan.

• ●Additionally, a variety of hands-on floral programs will be offered, including:

• ○Floral Creation Competition

• ○Proposal Event

• ○Flower Crown Making

• ○Flower Arrangement Experience

• ○Bouquet Making

• ○Writing Flower Letters

The city emphasized that 70,000 flowering plants used in the exhibition will be sourced from local growers,
and a Flower Direct Sales Market will be operated at producer prices to boost flower consumption and invigorate the local floriculture industry.

The Opening Ceremony for the exhibition will be held at 11:00 a.m. on May 2 at the special stage in Dasom Yard, Busan Citizens Park.

• ●Approximately 30 distinguished guests will attend, including Mayor Park Heong-joon, members of the Busan City Council,
  the head of the Busan Regional Headquarters of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation,
  the president of the Busan Facilities Corporation, and the president of the BUKGYEONG Horticultural Cooperative.

• ●The event will feature the official opening declaration, an opening performance, and celebratory performances.
